People have them and mine very often come to the subject of life. I consider this a lot and I want to grasp what life is. I am very certain that every person shares this idea of mine since it is mind that is responsible for it and mind is the one thing that people share. We all have similar mental properties and characteristics. So, what do I think about? Usually, I consider the world and the subject of being. What makes life tick? It is easy to see that there is pain and there is pleasure in this life. The duality of things is clear. What bothers me is finding what lies beneath the surface. There are religions and ideas which attempt to deciper that which is invisible and bulk of them are in need of reasonable examples. Life can be cushy or difficult. That appears to be the usual case. A difficult life is nothing more than the opposite of an easy life. Who can say that one is preferrable to the other? A hard life can lead a man to work harder and cause him to gain more. An easy life can make one soft. Which one is better than the other? Surely, there are greater hidden issues than these simple observations. To paraphrase the movie, there is more than meets the eye. Take the scriptures or the sutras. They seem to teach something relating to divinity, and conflict is what follows from espousing one or the other. I have often been discombobolated by this situation and I cannot believe that one is higher than the other. For sure, there are other variables at work than a simple belief in one or the other. One god is fine with me and there are many belief systems that allow for a multiplicity of gods.
